Our Warranty Begins the Day Your Piece Leaves the Atelier.

Every Lux Monster carries a lifetime craftsmanship warranty. We stand behind the work of our setters, casters, and gemologists for as long as the piece exists.

Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty

Any defect in materials or construction is covered for the life of the piece. That coverage follows the object, not the buyer. Whether you purchased new from us or inherited the piece, you receive the same protection.

This is not a limited term. There is no five-year cutoff, no ten-year cutoff. If a setting fails or a gold element develops a fault that traces back to our workshop, we fix it.

What Is Covered

Our warranty covers defects that originate from our own work. That includes loose stitching on leather details, bezel seating failures, gemstone setting issues, defects in cast gold elements, and damage to the certificate of authenticity where the fault is ours.

If you notice anything that feels wrong with the piece, send photos. Our team assesses every case individually.

We also cover failures in the NFC authentication chip and damage to the inner presentation box when the root cause traces back to a manufacturing fault. Every covered repair is recorded against the piece's serial number, building a permanent service history that travels with the figurine forever.

What Is Not Covered

Accidental damage falls outside the warranty. That includes drops, impacts, water exposure, pet damage, and damage caused by intentional modification.

Theft and loss are not covered either. For those risks, rely on your household insurance or a scheduled jewelry policy. We provide an insurance-ready appraisal with every order so you can schedule the piece without a separate valuation.

Normal patina on gold, hand-rubbed leather bases, and natural inclusions in untreated gemstones are not defects. They are characteristics of the materials we work with, and they are part of why these pieces age beautifully over decades.

Repair Process

Email our support team with photos within 30 days of noticing the issue. We assess remotely first. If the case qualifies, we send a prepaid, fully insured return label to your address.

Your piece is repaired in the Paris atelier by the same setters and casters who built it. Return shipping is insured and covered by us.

Average turnaround is 3 to 5 weeks from the day we receive the piece to the day it leaves our workshop again.

Ownership Transfer and Lost Certificate

The warranty follows the piece. When you resell or gift a Lux Monster, register the new owner through the authentication portal at /verify. The lifetime warranty continues without interruption under the new owner's name.

Lost the certificate of authenticity? A replacement is available for a flat 150 EUR fee after we verify the embedded NFC chip and confirm the serial against our records.
